Since
the Summer Olympic Games in 2008, the Royal Mint of Belgium has the annual
tradition to support their Olympic athletes with a beautiful commemorative
coin! This year is no exception. Never
before have the Olympic Games been postponed to take place exactly one year
later, as happened this year with the Olympic Games in Tokyo. As a consequence,
it has also been the first time in history that the Royal Mint of Belgium had
to postpone the launch of an official coin by a year.
