The obverse of the coin features a detailed view of the Climate House. The engravers have carefully reproduced the building’s curved structure, which evokes organic and maritime forms. In addition, they have highlighted its glass façade, illustrating the transparency and openness of the center to the world.

In the background, two seagulls in flight recall the close connection between Bremen and the North Sea. The designers also engraved the inscription “BREMEN” in capital letters, highlighting the state celebrated by this issue. In addition, they inscribed the year “2026” under the building, thus specifying the year the coin was put into circulation.

On the upper part, the letter “D” identifies Germany as the issuing country. Finally, the twelve stars of the European Union decorate the outer ring, symbolizing unity and harmony among the nations of the continent.
