Germany 2026 A D F G J Konrad Adenauer

The obverse of the coin features a striking portrait of Konrad Adenauer, depicted facing forward with a firm and determined gaze. Furthermore, the facial features are precisely engraved, expressing the maturity and wisdom of the former chancellor. His full name, “KONRAD ADENAUER,” appears in capital letters along the left side of the portrait, following a vertical axis. This inscription is in German and translates into English as “Konrad Adenauer.”

In addition, the years “1876–1967” appear in the lower right corner, recalling the honoree’s birth and death dates. To the right of the bust, the letter “D” identifies Germany as the issuing country. Just above, the year “2026” indicates the minting date of this commemorative issue. In the upper left corner of the portrait, the letter indicates one of five German mints.

Thus, the initials “MD”, placed on the right of the neck, designate the engraver of the coin, whose work highlights the solemnity of the figure. Finally, the outer border is decorated with the twelve stars symbolizing the European Union, emphasizing the integration of Germany into this supranational framework.
