France 2025 Notre-Dame Paris
The obverse features a detailed depiction of the western façade of Notre-Dame de Paris. It features the two majestic towers, the large rose window, and the sculpted portals. A stylized ray of light radiating from the top of the cathedral symbolizes hope and rebirth. The inscription “NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS” appears on the right side of the coin. Its French translation is identical, as it is the name of the monument. Furthermore, the year “2025” appears on the left, accompanied by the monogram “RF,” an abbreviation for “République Française.” Stars are also arranged on the outer ring, representing the twelve founding countries of the European Union. The contrast between the central golden part and the silver ring accentuates the elegance of the design. As a result, each element of the obverse highlights the finesse of the engraving and the artistic precision.
