Netherlands 2000 2 euro cent Mint error Graded PCGS MS66RD
A "clipped planchet" is a fairly rare but well-known minting error. It occurs when a metal blank (planchet) is improperly punched out from a sheet of metal — a portion of the circular shape is missed, resulting in an incomplete planchet (for example, with a “bite” taken out of it).
This error is clearly visible, with a typical “bite” shape and preserved design elements. It is an excellent choice for collectors seeking unique eurozone coins.
The coin comes encapsulated with a PCGS certification. Authenticity guaranteed.
