In 2020, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to comics and to Peyo’s work but also to the hundred of iconic characters, all very much alike, but with such different nature. Gargamel is a mean sorcerer who is helped by his cat Azrael and spends his time planning extravagant plans to catch the Smurfs. Luckily, the Smurfs always manage to avoid him.
