This exceptionally beautiful Kookaburra coin was first introduced in 1990 and quickly became one of the most popular and favorite coins among all collectors in the world due to the high production control ensured by the Australian Mint.
The reverse of the coin depicts a Kookaburra bird holding a snake in its claws, the word "KOOKABURRA" is engraved on the top, and the coin's year of issue, weight and metal with purity "2024 1 OZ 9999 SILVER". The right edge of the coin is engraved with the letter "P", which is the mint mark of the Perth mint.
The obverse of the coin depicts King Charles III, who is also the Monarch of Australia. The name of the king and the name of the country "CHARLES III AUSTRALIA" are engraved on the top of the coin, and the denomination of the coin "1 DOLLAR" is engraved on the bottom of the coin.
This is the first time that the obverse features a portrait of His Majesty King Charles II.
