This coin is dedicated to the
castle of SchlossHof, located on the Marchfeld (the plains to the east of
Vienna) on the border of today’s Slovakia and the Great Hungarian Plain. The
obverse of the silver coin shows a view of the castle from the terraced garden
side. Along with the country of issue "Republik Oesterreich"
(Austria), the year of issue "2003" and the legal tender face value
of "10 Euros". The reverse of the coin depicts two gardeners in
clothing typical of the Baroque period who are tending the formal flower beds.
