The obverse of the coin features an architectural composition highlighting the Louvre Museum. Indeed, it shows a detailed representation of the classical facade of the palace. This historic building, a former royal palace, is decorated with numerous sculpted windows and columns. In addition, each detail highlights the architectural richness of the monument.

Behind the façade, the glass pyramid, designed by architect Ieoh Ming Pei, is also represented. This contrast between old and modern perfectly illustrates the museum’s identity. In addition, geometric lines in the background suggest a view of the glass roof from different angles. These graphic elements reinforce the depth and dynamism of the design.

Several inscriptions appear on the coin. First, the letters “RF”, for “République Française,” appear in the upper left part. Then, the year of issue “2025” is inscribed under the facade of the palace. Finally, the inscription “MUSÉE DU LOUVRE” is engraved in the lower part, emphasizing the theme of the coin.
